- Aug 13, 2022Thanks again. Finally figured it out. There were multiple issues that might help someone else out with the same problem. 1. The USB-C dongle for Ethernet was faulty. 2. The Eero gateway does not like sharing wired output from the modem (better alone). The whole chain needed to be reconnected to set the IP priorities correctly. The chain had to be: modem > Eero > Netgear switch > cat6 (long run) > second Netgear switch > PC

What modem is it?
if its a modem only device, most ISP's only support 1 connected device to the modem.
And if its a modem/router combo device, the eero would need to be setup properly to prevent a double nat.
Eitherway, glad you got it working! Might mark it solved so others aren't trying to fix it still 🙂
