GS108LP switching works, power light is off, POE does not work
I have a GS108LP that works fine as a plain switch, but won't provide POE. I purchased it originally to use with a device that, as it turned out, required passive POE instead of 802.3af. So it's be...
I found a 12v power adapter and plugged in the camera.
The camera works when external power is provided, so I conclude the GS108LP is defective, and may have been defective from day one.
Tomorrow I'll have access to another POE switch (TrendNET) and will test with that one.
