GS305p right light green, no light on left, then after a while turns green
Hi all,
Netgear gs305p switch, PoE port provides power to a wireless AP - all fine.
Then after a period of time the AP drops. The interface left light is off BUT the right light is solid green! After a few hours, the left light returns and the AP returns online. After a few hours the same situation occurs.
Sometime this situation won't occur for over 24-hours, but then this unusual situation occurs again.
Cable has been tested using RJ45 cable tester - all fine.
Wireless access point has tested successfully also.
Any ideas as to what might be occurring.
thanks.

Welcome to the Community!
What AP are you using? From the picture it seems the LED is yellow (100M/10M). Have you tried using a different cable? A different port on the switch does the same to the AP? Do other device connected on the switch loses link as well?

Thanks for the reply - I realised that the picture I sent was indicating yellow after I sent it, I also realised that I could only attach 1 photo.
In answer to your questions. Other interfaces appear to be fine. The cable has been tested, the AP was moved to a different interface and experienced the same issues, those being after a period of time (hours) simply prevents Ethernet connectivity albeit the POE is still good.
I have replaced the AP and cable - same issues. So, next step is replace the switch and now installing the Managed version to see what happens.
Thanks
