GS305v3 IP address

Permitting the cables are fine, an the link LEDs show up: Probably connecting direct to eg. a cable modem WAN port where only one IP is available?
WIthout a NAT router only one device can connect as only one IP will be assigned to the port intended to connect a NAT router.
I'm having a similar issue. The switch is plugged into the modem (no router) and a Roku works fine plugged into the switch but the computer will not connect to the internet when plugged into the switch. It says there is an incorrect IP. Even if the computer is the only device plugged into the switch I get the same error.
I would appreciate any help/suggestions!

This is not a switch problem, just a common standard for ISP modems (without a NAT router). As I wrote above:
