GS316 UNIDENTIFIED NETWORK NO INTERNET
I recently installed a GS316 switch after a G6 Verizon fios router.
Upon initial installation, all connections worked perfectly. However, after a day or two, several pcs can not connect to the internet throught ethernet. When attempted, the message says "unidentified network no internet".
I have reinstalled network adapters, re-started every possible device and and checked ip addresses.
My concern is that it could be the energy saving protocol integral to the switch that is causing these issues.
I also determined that when I forced a connection to the tivo service from my tivo mini which is also connected to the same switch, the two pc's which were not recognizing the network previously automatically connected to through the same switch.
The set-up goes provider ONT connection -> Provider G6 Fios router -> GS316 switch -> individual devices.
Any ideas?
Thank you in advance

What is the behavior of the LED lights of the corresponding ports on the GS316 where the several PCs are connected?
Have you tried to reboot the GS316?
Let us try this. Disconnect the GS316 from the existing network. Connect 2 PCs directly to any port of the GS316. Set a static IP address on each PC. For example: 192.168.2.2 on PC1 and 192.168.2.3 on PC2. Open command prompt on both PCs. On PC1, check if you can get replies from PC2 and vice versa. Are you able to get replies from each PC?
