Hi DaneA!
Thank you for the warm welcome.
Here is some additional information:
- All three STBs directly wired into the switch works perfectly even with all three on HD channels
- STB 3 connected to the router directly via the POWERLINK works perfectly
- STB 3 connected to the switch i the POWERLINK works perefctly
Now here come the problems:
- Conect STB 1 to the switch directly and STB 3 via the POWERLINEto te switch Playback wll sutter and freeze on both STBs
- Turn off STB 3 but do not unplug it to the switch. STB 1 can not playback HD but can plaback non HD with some stuttering.
Conclusion: There is constant traffic between the switch and the powerline even with the STB turned off. This is confirmed by the blinking led on the POWERSWITCH. This trafic is eating up the bandwidth.
So my question is who is causing this? The POWERLINE, the SWITCH, combination of both?
Thank you for your help!
