    Hello hshah96,

    Welcome to the community!

The none-PoE device(s) will not be affected, the PoE ports are auto-sensing  and it detects if a device supports 802.3at or 802.3af (PoE Standards). If the switch detects that a device does not support the standards mentioned, it will not send power and will just work as a regular ethernet port.

I would just like to add to this discussion.  I installed a Unifi Wireless AP onto a Netgear Fs728TP switch which also has PoE and was concerned that because the Unifi device is powered by a Unifi 24V PoE Injector that plugging it in may harm the switch so I turned off the PoE on the switch port first and then plugged the Unifi AP in.  It worked fine.  However I had to factory reset the switch and this meant that PoE was enabled again and I wondered if this caused a problem.  However it did not.  The switch thought the device plugged in was non PoE but the AP was powered by the power injector and everything is fine.  Seems like the ports are pretty resilient.
