Non PoE devices to PoE port
Can a LAN port on a desktop be safely connected to a PoE port on NETGEAR GS305p to receive internet from mesh WiFi router connected to the non-PoE port?
Yes! All these Netgear PoE devices are fully IEEE PoE standards compliant: Without a powered device requesting PoE, there never PoE power applied to the wires.
This is not a non-IEEE compliant passive "PoE".
