BR200 - GS728TP - WAX214 and VLAN Routing/Switching
My problem is multiple SSIDs and Internet access. When logged into a SSID that is assigned a VLAN, these devices have no internet access! The other 2 SSIDs that are not on a VLAN connect to the Inter...
inter vlan routing for this type of product is not working.. the option to enable vlan is there but it doesnt work. I don't recommend this product if you like to configure inter vlan routing with multiple SSID.

The meanwhile obsolete BR200 was (still is where operational) able to work as a basic L3 IPv4 router including DHCP for the subnets; the smart switches like the GS728TP can nicely act as designed doing L2+ fast cut routing to attached devices. when properly configured (what was never was in scope of this post in the Hardware Firewall and Business Routers). Last but not least, the WAX214 is multi SSID and VLAN capable, but it's a pure wireless access point, and in no aspect a router.
So what are you talking about here please? Consider to open a new thread in the Netgear Community, ideally in the appropriate section instead of necro-posting. A little bit more verbose information of the product and the problem would be helpful. Thank you!
