Enforce encrypted L2TP connections
I configured FVS336Gv3 router for L2TP VPN, using IPSec PSK. It works well, the only problem I'd like to solve is to enforce using IPSec PSK, disable unencrypted L2TP connections.
Remotely connected Windows 10 clients should set "Require encryption" instead "No encryption allowed" or "Optional encryption" in adapter settings (see below). But users used to forget it, that's why I'd like to enforce encryption on router side. Is there any way to do it?
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Gyula
Hi BGy:
Welcome to the community!
FVS336Gv3 seems do not support the client to config as "Require encryption",you can set "No encryption allowed" or "Optional encryption" in adapter settings. And you can config one L2TP connection and save the config,so you can use it next time directly.
