WGR614v7. Changing encryption type from WEP to WPA2.
Can I change the encryption type from WEP to WPA2 without changing any other settings (such as username or password)? My new security cameras require WPA2 level encryption on my router. Thanks

Instead of changing security protocols, change the router.
that is an old wireless g router that is single band from 2003. (just think, in a year, it can drink!)
Before wireless security camera's were a thing.
Not that you couldn't get it to work but its so old/slow that it'll bottleneck your network and proably make the camera's seem pretty crappy.
Time to upgrade to something from this decade.

Make that this century. I'd lay money on it having its origins back in the 20th century.
- Allied605AspirantThanks for the advice. I probably will.
- Allied605AspirantThanks for your reply. I will probably change routers. Still, can I change encryption levels without disrupting my network devices?
