eprint issue thru FVS318v3
Using printer's embedded web services 'enable' function, eprint capability for HP Laserjet Pro 400 M401n with unable to get thru FVS318v3 router (BTW: VPN not turned on). Per HP's instructions, have already forwarded ports 443, 5222, 5223 to printer (which has a static home network IP of 192.168.0.13).
Firewall functioning as DHCP (duh), and had already updated firewall to latest firmware (v3.0_28).
Per HP Support, firewall is blocking 'something'.
Used PFPort Checker to confirm 5223 is being blocked (even though router rule/service is set to forward along), while all other ports above are showing as not blocked. Have removed forward, reboot, re-forward, etc multiple times.
Assistance requested. thanks much!

- aditMentorRouter is EOL. You probably won't get this to work and will have no other recourse than to replace it. You probably need a router with UPnP capabilities.
- rmustardAspirantHi adit,
Care to provide other insight? The first item in the router's Lan IP Setup tab is "enable UPnp" and I've always had it enabled. - aditMentorMy bad, didn't think that old router had it. What is the Remote Management port of the router? Did you configure the Services with TCP, UDP or TCP/UDP? Default gateway setup on the printer? Read my LAN Subnets NOT to Use tutorial as well (nothing to do with your issue).
- rmustardAspirantRemote Management: not enabled - ever
Services configured with TCP/UDP -- and port forwarding for the printer are set up as the priority order rules (i.e. #1, #2... positions)
Default gateway setup on the printer points directly to router (192.168.0.1)
BTW: as briefly noted above, this is a home install. At the time of purchase I urgently needed to replace my prior Linksys unit and this was the only 8-port item 'on the shelf' at BestBuy. Wasn't looking for anything fancy, having VPN (never turned on), etc. Just needed a replacement that evening..... ugh....
Thanks mate.
