FVS318N - switch doesn´t print on brother HL3040CN
Hello Community,
my new switch doesn´t let the print jobs to my brother HL3040CN.
I exchanged an old switch without any safety features with a FVS318N.
The printer is connected via patch cable.
All my computers have connetion to the internet / cable & WiFi / through the FV318.
Just the printer doesn´t work. What can be the reason ?

You might also try reinstalling the printer drivers on one of the PCs and see if that helps.

The FVS318N is actually a VPN firewall router, not a switch. Is the HL3040CN connected via WiFi? If so, is the WiFi hosted by FVS318N?
No, the printer is connected with a LAN cable to the FVS318.
Have you checked the IP address of your brother HL3040CN printer? If not yet, kindly check if its getting a valid IP address from the FVS318N. Also, you may try to set a static IP address to the printer that is within the IP range of your existing network.
