FVS338: Multi VPN connection from same endpoint
Hallo,
I'm using a FVS338 Firewall for my network. I've also configured a VPN policy to connect to the network from outside.
So far everything is working fine.
The new challenge now is that I need to have 2 separate VPN connections to the firewall but both clients use the same external IP form the ISP.
It's configured like this:
Connection 1: [PC1 (192.168.0.10)] -> [Router ISP (88.55.34.56)] -> [Internet] -> [FVS338]
Connection 2: [PC1 (192.168.0.11)] -> [Router ISP (88.55.34.56)] -> [Internet] -> [FVS338]
If I use only one of these connections, everything is fine but as soon as I'm connection the second one while the first one is active, the connection 1 gets deactivated.
Also I connection 2 is active and I connect the first one, the second one get deactivated.
Is there any way to configure the FVS338 to accept more then one VPN connection from the same external IP address?
Help is much appreciated.
Thanks,
Volker

Hello vpan,
Welcome to the community!
If you also have a Netgear firewall on the second location, I think it is much better to use Bob-to-box VPN connection instead of using 2 clients. I dont believe this setup is possible, because the router will terminate a session if the same WAN address is used. My suggestion is to use VPN box-to-box or SSL-VPN.

I'll look forward to your response.
