Fvx538 random reboots
Hello, I have an FVX538 firewall that has been rebooting randomly over the past month. It did it again this morning and I received the following netgear monitoring email ( see below). I am running ...
1969 is the default date in the firmware. This is the date/time before the router syncs with a NTP.
Use these NTPs, they are the most reliable:
us.pool.ntp.org
0.pool.ntp.org
1.pool.ntp.org
2.pool.ntp.org
3.pool.ntp.org
The NTP has nothing to do with why the router is rebooting, not sure why it was even mentioned.
I'm only aware of 3 things that can cause it to reboot:
1. Power issue
2. Overloading the router
3. Hardware failure
