IS IT TRUE NETGEAR DOESN'T SELL OR SUPPORT VPN FIREWALL PRODUCTS ANYMORE?
In shopping for Model: SRX5308 on Amazon I came upon a Netgear.com link that opens a page stating Netgear will no longer offer VPN Firewall Devices nor support them after 2017.
If Netgear nolonger supports VPN Firewall Routers then why are they still selling them and listing them on netgear.com.

The NETGEAR ProSAFE VPN Firewall product line which includes the SRX5308 was declared EOL (End-of-Life) last September 2017. Kindly check the official announcement here.
NETGEAR will still provide support to customers that owns ProSAFE VPN Firewall devices for as long as the customer is entitled with support.
