My Firewall limited download/upload to 60/60 Mbps without my interference

Hello all,

I have a problem with my broadband speed. I plug cable directly to router - I reach 1Gbps/100Mbps.

If I plug cable to firewall I reach 60/60Mbps.

Few days ago everything was OK. I did not change anything with my firewall.

Firewall: FVS318N

Firmware Version: 4.3.5-3

Left LED - blink, right LED - green.

Reboot is not help.

What should I do now?

    Hi Makookam,

    Welcome to our community! :)

FVS318N can only handle upto 250Mbps LAN-to-WAN throughput. It is limited to that bandwidth. If you do have 1Gbps/100Mbps then it cannot be handled by the FVS318N but it will be maxed out to its limit. You may try resetting it to factory default.

    Here is the reference.

JohnC_V - whilst the FVS318N may not be rated for 1Gbps, surely a firewall/router rated at 250 Mbps would be capable of delivering more than 60Mbps.

I did reset to factory default and restore from backup. After few days problem's back again.

Now (after reboot, not restore!) FVS318N reached 600/100.

      What more can I do?
