Netbios wont work Box to Box VPN SRX5308 to FVS318N

Hi all,

Did setup a box to box IPSec VPN. The SRX5308 has WAN ip and the FVS318N is behind NAT but DMZ.

Its working so far so good, i can ping other devices but i cant acces any HTTP or HTTPS exept my server. Server is also WINS.

Can acces the shares to my NAS but cant acces his config page on HTTPS.

Can scan network and it finds most devices, portscan shows acceble ports 80, 443, etc.

Want to connect my dreambox on port 80 but wont open.

Can someone help me?

Regards,

Roy

    Hi RoyDerksen,

    Welcome to the community! :)

    Kindly answer the questions below:

    a. Is the LAN subnet of the SRX5308 different from the LAN subnet of the FVS318N?

    b. Is the WINS server directly connected to the SRX5308 or to the FVS318N?

    c. Is NetBIOS enabled on the VPN Policy of both SRX5308 and FVS318N?

    d. Have you tried to delete the existing IKE / VPN Policies then re-create it using the VPN Wizard on both SRX5308 and FVS318N?

    e. What is the current firmware version of both SRX5308 and FVS318N?

    f. Is your NAS a NETGEAR device?  If yes, what is the model number of it?

It would be best if you post a diagram of your detailed network setup as well as the settings of the IKE / VPN policies on both VPN firewalls.

        RoyDerksen,

I apologize for this is the only time I got back on this.  Here are my follow-up questions:

        a. Is the WINS server configured to the client on the FVS318N side also?

        b. Can you confirm if NetBIOS does resolve between clients (such as PCs) on the same LAN?  For example: PC1 to PC2 within the FVS318N LAN or PC1 to PC2 within the SRX5308 LAN.

        Regards,

From the FVS318N its almost the same, identifier and start IP's are vice versa.
