PPTP VPN connect but cannot ping

Finally I told my clients to leave "Default gateway in remote network" checked, warning them that they will lose internet while connected to the VPN.
It's a shame that the firewall force you to give the VPN a different subnet than the LAN.

I just want to follow-up on this. Were you able to read the forum thread I've shared? Also, what is the current firmware version of the SRX5308?

Yes, I have read that forum thread before. It's where I discover I could connect to remote LAN checking "Default gateway in remote network" and using the route command, but as I said this options don't fit my needs.
Is there some way to adding the routes to the firewall?
I apologize for this is the only time I got back on this. :(
If ever the PPTP policy is configured correctly, they should be able to connect to the VPN and can get replies when you ping and access the SRX5308 without requiring to add any routes. If it cannot do that, then there is something not right about the PPTP policy.
Here are my follow-up questions:
a. What is the IP range configured on the PPTP Server configuration page?
b. What is the LAN IP range on the PPTP client?
c. Are you using the correct encryption type on the PPTP VPN policy to match what is configured on the SRX5308?
Let me also inform you that firmware v4.3.5-3 has been recently released for the SRX5308. If you wish to upgrade the firmware of the SRX5308, you may download firmware v4.3.5-3 here. Be reminded to perform a factory reset on the SRX5308 after upgrading the firmware then reconfigure it from scratch in order to start clean using the latest firmware version.
