PPTP VPN Connection Problems

I am trying to configure my FVS336Gv3 to allow me to connect to my network remotely through VPN. I am using the PPTP server and although I am able to get Windows 7 and 10 PC's to connect remotely, they are not able to access anything on the network. I can't even ping the router address (default VLAN is on 192.168.101.1). I have set the IP's in the PPTP server page to be a range from 192.168.101.200 to 192.168.101.209

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Ben

    Hello bhocker,

    Welcome to the community!

Follow the instructions posted on this KB Article. I would like to also know if the FVS336Gv3 is connected to your modem and gets a public IP and what firmware version you are using.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Thanks,

Thank you for the help- I used that article to setup each end. It connects no problem, just can't access the network or even ping the router address. The FVS336Gv3 is connected to a cable modem that is not fixed IP, but I am using the dynamic DNS (DynDNS) and that seems to be working. Firmware is 4.3.3-6

Some other info that may be helpful: I have 3 VLANs setup on ports 2-4 (lets call them work, home1 and home2) with internal IPs of 169.108.254.1, 192.168.0.1 and 192.168.1.1 respectively)

I am assigning a range of IPs in the PPTP configuration to 169.108.254.200 to 209 thinking that the VPN traffic would end up on the work network. Do I need to configure anything to make this happen?

      Thanks

Sorry - just realized that post conflicted with my original with respect to IP's. During my troubleshooting, I had the default VLAN on port 1 set to 192.168.101.1 and configured the PPTP range to be 192.168.101.200-209. Same problem. Thanks.
