ProSafe FVS318G not setup correctly
Hello Experts,
I am a novice trying to connect the FVS318G - VPN device with AT&T given Modem and Router combo 5268AC, and I dnt even know the right wiring connections.
i) My wiring is
-- ATT Network Cable to AT&T 5268AC modem-router combo WAN port
-- LAN Port1 on 5268AC modem-router combo connected to WAN port on FVS318G
ii) ATT has ported a Public IP on the WAN port of the Netgear FVS318G
iii) As shown in the screenshots, I can open the Tunnel, but the Ikev1Tunnel assigns 10.10.10.10 IP address (I think this could be the issue)
iv) I am NOT ABLE to ping the FVS318G's address 192.168.1.1 once the Ikev1Tunnel is opened. I am not able to connect to any of the IPs in my home network at all. So this Ikev1Tunnel is openening up to nowhere in effect.
What is wrong with the setup ? Can someone help ?
Thanks
Vin

Hi EmperorVinay,
Welcome to our community!
I found out that the Remote LAN Address of the VPN Client is the same as the LAN IP of the VPN server. Please change the Remote LAN address to a different subnet and test if you can now ping the other network.
If ever your concern has been addressed or resolved, I encourage you to mark the appropriate reply as the “Accepted Solution” so others can be confident in benefiting from the solution. The NETGEAR Community looks forward to hearing from you and being a helpful resource in the future!
