SRX5308 Internet Issues
Hello All
I have a 24port FSM726S managed switch connected to a SRX5308 that is also set up as the DNS server. To the switch is also connected a Nighthawk Rax9 and previously a R7000. The problem is no wireless device can connect to the internet. If I connect my laptop with a cable it works fine and the internet is accessible however as soon as I try to use the wireless on the laptop the internet is blocked. The same thing happens with iphones etc.
I cannot find anything in the SRX5308 settings that could be causing the issue. I have updated the firmware to the latest version. I know the SRX5308 is no longer supported. The FSM726S is so old that the browsers no longer support it but it still works.
I can ping the SRX5308 from the laptop when wirelessly connected and I get a reply from the SRX5308.
Does anybody have any ideas what could be causing the issue?
Nothing is enabled on the Content Filtering page on the SRX5308.
Thanks in advance

Is the Rax9 set up in AP mode?
Is that cable connected connected to a Rax9 LAN port, or is it connected to the switch?
If the switch, have you tried testing the Rax9 LAN port connections?
Do you use MAC ACL to block connections in the SRX5308 (or the RAX9) ?
You'd check the RAX9's AP mode and make sure the wireless devices are getting the correct gateway and DNS settings. Since wired connections work, testing the RAX9's LAN ports might also help narrow it down.

Hello Stephen
Yes the Rax9 is set up in AP mode as was the R7000 although it was also set up as router mode with no difference.
The cable from the laptop was connected to the Rax9's LAN port.
No the SRX5308 is not configured to block MAC addresses.

No the SRX5308 is not configured to block MAC addresses. Are the wifi devices getting an IP?
If they are,
- Can a device connected to wifi ping the SRX5308?
- Similarly, can it ping the laptop connected to the LAN port?
