Disable WG103 Rogue AP is better?
Hi, Is it better for AP performance to disable Rogue AP feature if i'm not using it? Thanks

Hi mhndsh,
As far as I have checked, the performance of the WG103 is not affected even if the Rogue AP Detection is turned on. It would be best to turn on Rogue AP Detection because unknown APs and wireless stations are prevented from connecting to the WG103.
Kindly read pages 4-19 to 4-20 of the WG103 reference manual here about Rogue AP Detection.

"because unknown APs and wireless stations are prevented from connecting to the WG103."
How does that happen? How does WG103 determine that this station is harmful?
here you can find how tom but not why:
"Kindly read pages 4-19 to 4-20 of the WG103 reference manual here about Rogue AP Detection. "

If you will observe, the MAC Address, SSIDs and its corresponding channel(s) are detected and shown in the Unknown AP List. With regard to this, you will be able to identify if the wireless networks detected in the Unknown AP List are suspicious or not.

so, if the device (mobile device) is in the Rogue list it will not be able to access the AP? (this is not clear in the reference manual)
Thanks for your help
