Disable WG103 Rogue AP is better?
Hi, Is it better for AP performance to disable Rogue AP feature if i'm not using it? Thanks

Hi mhndsh,
As far as I have checked, the performance of the WG103 is not affected even if the Rogue AP Detection is turned on. It would be best to turn on Rogue AP Detection because unknown APs and wireless stations are prevented from connecting to the WG103.
Kindly read pages 4-19 to 4-20 of the WG103 reference manual here about Rogue AP Detection.

A mobile device (such as iPhone/iPad or Android phone/tablet) is a wireless client, it is not a wireless station providing wireless access to any wireless client. Otherwise, if you will set up your mobile device for tethering and it happen that it got listed to the Unknown AP list, then, you can move it to the Known AP List.
Note: Tethering is the use of your cellular phone (or another mobile device that's connected to the internet) as a modem for another device, usually a laptop or a Wi-Fi-only tablet.
