Issues with Insight and WAX610: Insight app does not allow 11ax format
WAX610 goes off of 11ax format (goes into 11 ac) by switching from stand alone to Insight app management tool

Yes, looks like a mishap, indeed. The max "Wireless Mode" is implicitly controlled by Insight, but there is no Insight user control, neither global per site, nor per AP device. RaghuHR
While on Insight mode, checking the WAX610 locally ...
Management > Configuration > Wireless > Basic > Wireless Settings
...does reflect the 11ac (read-only AFAIK), too? Have no local WAX6xx to compare, thus asking.

In the stand alone configuration, the system allows for selection of the 11ax mode and the clientes that are 11ax enabled are shown as connected using 11ax mode (monitoring menue in the web portal) If the insight app is enabled then the 11ax devices are shown connected using 11ac mode. Clearly the app is oudated. I suspect that it will be updated as the number of customer using 11ax capable WAPs increases.
Cheers
