NB: I have both APs broadcasting the same SSID and both APs are hard wired into an ethernet connection as the WAN source.
Under Advance Mesh Configuration I have set "Disable Mesh," because I do NOT want one AP using another AP as a WAN source over wifi

This is correct, because I understand both WAX610 are connected to the same wired LAN, and don't need one to serve in a wireless Mesh config therefore.
