Not sure what network layout you have in place there. All WAC5xx and WAX6xx are in the first iteration Wireless Access Points, in the standard installation the backhaul is wired, and everything is handled over the switched network - this includes the seamless handover et all (this is already much more than what the consumer marketing defines as Mesh)
There are options to add some detached WAC5xx and WAX6xx without a wired backhaul where no cabling is available, say to extend the reach to an outer area. That's what is named Instant Mesh - the only usage where some sections of the backhaul are wireless.
