Purchased Wireless Access Point-802.11 Model WAC104

What is the WAC104 connected to for gateway? 

Have you logged into the wac104 and went through setup? 
if you have a hardwired in device, you shouldn't need the wireless to access it for setup. 

Then you can setup your ssid/password.

Might also consider posting in the business wireless section instead of the consumer forum for that device as its a business product. More people will have used it/be familar with it there

The WAC104 is a wireless access point. As the installation guide explains, you have to connect it, by wire or wireless, to a router that has a connection to the Internet. That's usually a modem of some sort.

You may have done that already. I can't tell from your message.

I mention it because Netgear gave up on supplying paper manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.
