Laptop not switching to closer WAX610 access point automatically

I actually use 802.11r and the Insights app says not to turn on Band Steering (802.11k RRM and 802.11v) if you are using 802.11r
Maybe I will try adjusting the power of one of the APs to reduce collisions.
use the https://insight.netgear.com
webUI to see more options to configure and monitor.
Insight APP is a great tool to monitor network.
