Hello coxbuell,
You're welcome, I hope that the FVS318N will cover all that you need. That's an interesting network you're trying to build.

Hello coxbuell,
Welcome to the community!
You'll probably need a switch and some APs (Access Points) if that is the case. What kind of environment are you planning to build you network on? Do you already have routers/firewalls or DHCP servers in place?
Looking forward to your response.
Thanks,

Hi,
Thanks for your answer.
I don’t have any router or DHCP in place yet.
I just have few machines which need to communicate via RJ45 (computers, contacts I/O, DMX lights, Wi-Fi tablet control).
No access to Internet, just closed network.
Most of machines are in a bay 19’’.
I think I need a rack router Wi-fi with 10 x RJ45.
But I don’t know which one to choose?
Do you have an optimized suggestion?
Thanks for your help.

Hello again coxbuell,
Our routers are not rack-mountable unfortunately, they are only desktop models. TheFVS318N firewall has 8 ports for LAN and capable of wireless. You'll be needing an additional switch if you'll pick the FVS318N. It's looking like your building a mobile soundstage :)
Cheers,

Thanks,
It's looks fine.
I can put it on a shelf rack.
I'm working on a project of immersive room with different stimuli like:
Video,
Sound,
Smelt,
Wind,
Temperature,
Light.
And I need to make everybody communicate to the automate.
Thanks for your help.
Sincerely.
