WAX214 (AX1800) sporadically drops internet connection

My WAX214 (AX1800) randomly disconnects from the internet. It will work fine, then will suddenly not have internet access. This happens about once every 1-2 hours. Previously, I was using an old router as a WAP and there were no issues with it (aside from being underpowered).

Devices:

• WAP: WAX214
• Router: TP-Link ER605 (wired router, has no wifi capabilities)

Network:

WAP is physically connected to router over non-poe ethernet, using one of the router's LAN ports over DHCP. Both the WAP and router are using out-of-the-box settings (more or less). There are four devices connected to the router over ethernet (including the WAP); the WAP has maybe 4~8 devices connected at a time.

Steps to reproduce:

1. WAP will be have access to internet (via wired connection to router), with any number of devices connected over wifi
2. WAP will suddenly lose connection to internet, although devices will still be connected to WAP
   • Any devices connected to the router over ethernet will still have access to internet
3. Connection to internet can be restored by restarting WAP, or (sometimes) by waiting 5~10 minutes
