Somewhere to the side of the "snap" latch one might guess ... slide the mounting bracket on the WAX610, and you will see where around the LAN port is.

Well, don't know if this will help anyone else, but i took the leap.
First, drilled the ceiling hole and snaked the Cat5 cable, affixed the RJ.
I dremeled off the rail mounting protusions on the base plate (the one with the 2 screw holes) to make it mount flush to the ceiling.
Aligned the screw holes so that when the AP snap latched into place, the RF was located 1/2" away from the Enet connection.
If i had thought about it more, i would have used a white cable to match the ceiling. Instead i touched up the black cable with nail polish. I'm glad i used the base plate and not mount it flush to ceiling because the heat generated by the AP used the ventilation.
This pic shows the cable view before i patched up the hole and recolored the cable.
I would recommend NetGear create a paper template showing the AP, base plate and cable ceiling penetration point. So just tape it in place and make this fool proof.
