WAX610 not staying connected
I have an Orbi Pro router connected to a Netgear GS108LP unmanaged PoE switch connected to a WAX610 WAP. The WAP regularly loses connection. It will go on and offline randomly and often won’t even ...

2 things you could try to troubleshoot.
1. try powering the WAX610 off its own power supply (for testing). the supply is quite common and you might have one from a different device sitting around. (2.5a, 12v) if that stays stable then you're good. if not....
2. then directly wired it to the Orbi pro with the wax610 on its own power supply.
Just trying to eliminate the switch and its poe capability to narrow the issue

No problem, certainly as long as you work on one network ( a single VLAN, untagged ...), no higher switch support is required.
A single 802.3af PoE supply is sufficient for the WAX610, as it does not exceed the 15.4W available - permitting the total PoE load does not exceed the total of 60W available on the GS108LP. Aside of the 44.6W remain available.
