And just like that, as soon as I post a thread in here I get a random reboot that doesn't fit the pattern. It appears to be a consistent time around 6:45am.

Has a factory reset been performed since last update?
How is the AP configured? Dynamic or Static IP address for the WAX?
What channels are you using on it?
Brand and model# of host router the AP is connected too?
MIght revert to prior working FW on the WAX.
You'll need to make contact with NG support regarding this if this can't be resolved here in the forums.

Hi,
I have performed a factory reset on the device.
I configure it with a static IP.
I'm using both 2.4GHz and 5GHz channels. (I've tried restricting to one or the other, with no difference in behaviour)
The router is an Ubiquiti Edgerouter X
Unfortunately even with older firmware I was experiencing the same behaviour. It has been occurring since purchase.- FURRYe38Sep 08, 2026Guru - Experienced User
Seems like if this is happening with with older FW, possible this unit is faulty and needs replacing.
Might as NG support if they have any RMA options available to you.
