WAX625 AP not allowing multicast discovery and control

my router is allowing connectivity between VLANs but the WiFi AP is restricting it.
Not so wild guess: You hit a limitation in the (hardware!) implementation of these WAX6xx - something that was fixed in the WBE7xx models. Let's talk by PM.
I got a response from Netgear support. They have confirmed that this is a known issue with Netgear WAX625 and WAX630E APs. They offered WAX630 as replacement, where the issue doesn't exist. However, I had to look for an alternative model because WAX630 is a PoE++ AP and requires more wattage than what my PoE+ switch can support.
Thanks for your help in getting this resolved. I am still waiting for my new AP to get delivered. Hopefully everything will work as expected.
