WC7520 'bricking" WNDAP360 - How to recover the AP ?
HI,
I have an issue with my EoL WC7520 has 'bricked' a WDNAP360 that it tried to update the firmware on. There are a numer of threads on this already but they often state 'and i recovered the WDNAP360 via the console' - please can somone direct me to a walktrough of how to do that bit!
Thanks in advance.
Welcome to the community! :)
What is the current firmware version of the WC7520?
Not sure if this will help. I found this old thread here on how to recover the WNDAP360.

Thanks, that is useful. Do I take it that what appears to be a second Ethernet port is the RS232 port?
The WC7520 is at the latest (last) firmware.

The port next to the factory reset hole is the console port. Make sure that you set the following settings before you access the WNDAP360 via console: 9600 K default baud rate, (8) data bits, no (N) parity bit, and one (1) stop bit.
As reference, kindly check pages 12-13 of the WNDAP360 Reference Manual here.
