gs105ev2 -- mDNS support

Netgear GS105Ev2, hereinafter NGS, maintains an administrator-configurable parameter denoted 'Switch Name' (accessible, for example, via device's web interface | System | Management | Switch | Information | Swicht Name),
On the other hand, DHCP (with 'Domain Suffix' announcement) is supported.
So it seemed kinda natural to me, that NGS would support mDNS according to RFC 6762. Would be reasonable in conjunction with DHCP on LAN.
However, after purchasing NGS and some network traffic analysis, it now seems there's no implementation of mDNS at all.
For example, the device doesn't even offer/ request DHCP Host Name option in negotiation with DHCP server. 'Switch Name' would be an appropriate value here.
Is there really no mDNS support ?
