Do I really have to subscribe to Insight to manage a single local switch
I'm in the market for a small switch that supports link aggregation for my home network. The Netgears seem to be a good option in terms of price and features, but the only models that support the link aggregation seem to require you to purchase a yearly subscription to Insight in order to manage it. I have no need to manege the switch remotely, do I really have to pay a yearly fee to be able to manage a switch in the same room with?

All Netgear Remote manageable/insight switches can be managed locally. The registration is however mandatory to gain full management access, this can be done by granting the switch Internet access, or using an offline method.
