GSM4212P (M4250)
Trying to add a GSM4212P (M4250) to the Insight portal but receiving the following "The device model is currently not supported by Insight".
There are other devices of the same model previously added to the portal.

Perfectly correct: It's not supported by Netgear Insight.

Insight (App or Web portal) could of course be used for the product registration for adding any Netgear product - only by adding the serial number - this does just register it to your Netgear account. As you see, there are plenty of Netgear devices listed on my account - most are not Insight manageable FWIW:

Thanks. Just for clarification, those devices show as not accessible?

In absence of a Netgear Insight implementation on these switches, yes, of course. The message after "adding" a device to Insight stating "The device model is currently not supported by Insight" would make much more sense here, causing less confusion. Not a very clever naming scheme showing a "Not accessible", however the Netgear Insight team did not wanted to listen to the old men here who predicted "problem" reports from the field.
