How to seperate 2 AP's and set different SSID for each in Insight cloud
Hi, i need help i want to setup 4 different SSID's (2x 5GHz and 2x 6GHz) and i want assign on each AP only 1x 5Ghz and 1x 6GHz. But i don't find the function to assign the SSID's to a special AP....
An SSID does represent a dedicated network (VLAN, IP subnet, ....). Do you have four different networks available? Are both WAX630E located very near so this could make any sense?
I would focus on both APs having dedicated channel sets available for each band.
What is the point limiting a certain client to a certain channel set / band?
Keep in mind that 6 GHz does only allow pure WPA3 (no mixed WPA2+WPA3 mode).
Are all your fast WiFi clients not intended for moving?

I have setup now 2 Locations and organizations to separate those AP's
I know that an SSID is not representing a dedicated network but through different SSID's an different AP's i get the workload 50% splitted between both AP's. Additionally the channels are separated like you mentioned.
I have a very special setup where I want to manage the load for each AP upfront. The 6 GHz clients have to receive high-end content with low latency and have to be synced. The 5GHz clients are much more but no big data transfers. They need only low latency.
Yes they are moving, but only in an area of 30 by 30 meters.
Maybe this makes for you not the most sense but for what I do it does right now đ

Please explore the Device Groups feature available at the Location level.
Each group can host one or more devices with specific set of configurations like Network SSIDs confined to that Group.- Start with the Device group creation from the Edit Location > Device Groups ( Last Option).
- Onboard the AP to the location and then prefer the "Device Group" of your choice.
A device group supports most of the configurations albeit some limitations like mDNS, Org Wide SSIDs etc.
note : APs in different groups are isolated for majority of features.Thanks
