Hi plross22 ,
Thank you for posting here. Best would be to schedule a meeting with your IT team and your AV team and us at ProAVDesign@netgear.com, so that we clear out all questions or issues in the first place. Don't worry, we are very much used to that - the NETGEAR AV Line is excellent for the AV portion because it is certified by more than 55 partners already, and we have a dedicated ProAV SE team supporting it. But yes, the AV network should be hooked to the corporate network for control, inventory, management etc. The NETGEAR AV Line is all based on standards including OOB management, SSH, SNMP, and many discovery protocols - even ISDP for certain Cisco networks!
The Cisco DNA Center will not "configure" the NETGEAR AV Line, the compatibility list at Cisco clearly shows Catalyst 2K and above, only. But the NETGEAR AV Line shall be discoverable and should be monitored using standard protocols like the above.
Again, we can help build up the case - our IGMP Plus and other enhancements for AV make the NETGEAR AV Line platform a better choice for the AV portion, and yes we can comply to your IT team requirements becasue they deserve it.
I hope this helps, please reach out to us at ProAVDesign@netgear.com
