Netgear M4250 setup with NDI and Dante VLANs plus Internet on both

Hi,

I would like to have Dante and NDI available but I would like to keep them seperate as I have experienced Dante issues when NDI is on the same network. Even when using the NDI with Dante Profile provided by Netgear.

Can someone advise me how I would:

Use a standalone router to provide DHCP for all devices and all VLANs plus provide internet to all VLANs.

Configure M4250-10GX2XF to connect to Router on Port 1, have Ports 2 - 6 as a NDI Router and 7 - 10 as Dante leaving 11 which has a 10G RG45 in it to connect to a computer on the NDI VLAN and Port 11 which has a 1G Fibre SFP to Autotrunk to a M4250-9G1F which I would like to use with a mixture of NDI and Dante VLANs as well.

Firstly is this possible to use the standalone router to give IP addresses to all the devices connected to both switches and do I need to leave 1 port on both switches on the default management VLAN to manage the setup?

Frank
