New - SXR30 / SXS30 Firmware Version 4.3.2.102 Released
New Features: 07/22/2023
- Adds another selection to the Transmit Power Control menu in router web interface so that you can lower the transmission output power for a radio.
- Supports the 20MHz, 40MHz and Dynamic 20MHz/40MH channel bandwidth for the 2.4G radios.
- Supports the 20MHz, 40MHz and 80MHz channel bandwidth for the 5G radio.
- Removes the Insight Business VPN feature.
Bug fixes:
- Fixes the issue where multicast traffic with destination address 224.0.0.107 cannot pass through the router.
- Fixes the issue where the Wireless 3 network doesn’t work for the 5G radio if the country is set to Germany.
- Fixes the issue where clients can’t use multicast DNS (mDNS) services when both the clients and the services are connected to the same satellite.
Security Fixes:
- This firmware addresses security vulnerabilities. For more information about security vulnerabilities, visit https://www.netgear.com/about/security.
Warnings:
- After updating the router firmware, existing WiFi clients might be steered to the router because the WiFi networks on the router come up faster than the WiFi networks on the satellite. The existing WiFi clients might notice slower throughput or a weaker signal.
Workaround: Manually reconnect to the satellite, or roam to the area that is covered by the satellite. - WPA3-Enterprise might not work with an iPhone 11 that supports 802.11ax and that runs iOS 14 or a later iPhone model that runs iOS 14.
Workaround: Do not use WPA3-Enterprise. - You can access the router web interface only over the default VLAN network.
Workaround: Connect to a WiFi network that uses the default VLAN profile. - When an SXR80 router is connected to multiple SXS30 and SXS80 satellites, an SXS30 satellite might not be able to ping the SXR80 router, and the bar LED might light magenta. However, clients can still access the SXS30 satellite and the Internet.
Workaround: Reboot the SXS30 satellite and the SXR80 router. - When an SXR80 router is connected to multiple SXS30 and SXS80 satellites, WiFi clients that connect to the Wireless 3 network with the VLAN feature enabled cannot access the Internet.
Workaround: Reboot the SXR80 router or disable the VLAN feature on the Wireless 3 network.

Firmware Update Instructions:
If the Orbi Pro is connected to the Insight cloud, perform a firmware update through the firmware schedule policy, or manually perform a firmware update using the Insight app or local browser interface.
To update the Orbi Pro firmware from router web interface, follow the instructions in your product’s user manual. To find your user manual, visit https://www.netgear.com/support/, enter your model number in the search box, and click Documentation on the product page. We highly recommend updating the satellite firmware first, and then updating the router firmware.
After updating to the latest firmware, make sure to update your version of the NETGEAR Insight app for the best functionality and user experience.

Going to update this with some info.
Mines been online for past 5+days and working well since I got this version of FW loaded.
System Uptime 05:23:26:41
I ran a speed test with a Asus GT-AX11000 connected in wirelessb bridge mode to the SXR30. I was surprised to see sub 100Mbps speed results for a 1GB/50Mpbs ISP service. LIke 60Mpbs on the down. 🤔
I then remembered that there was this feature seen under the debug page on the SXR and got it enabled:
After enableing it and giving it a minute or two as this seems to have changed the wireless configuration of course, devices disconnected then reconneted, and after the SXR wireless was back, I re-ran the same speed test again and now saw 373Mpbs on the down.
I would recommend users that have the SXK30 series system to enabled this feature to ensure your getting good wifi performances from the system.
