No Internet via LAN
I own a NETGEAR Orbi Pro AC3000 Business Mesh WiFi System, 2-Pack, Wireless Access Point (SRK60) and cannot access the internet via ethernet hard-wired LAN. I have a multitude of wireless devices...

Because I was spending far too much time on this problem, I fixed it, but in an unconventional way. I remembered taht I had an older ASUS router, and I set it up as a DHCP server. I then turned off the ASUS WiFi radios, and connected all of my LAN lines to the ASUS router.
Next, I reconfigured the Netgear Orbi Router to be a plain and simple WiFi access point that is plugged into the ASUS router. I now can do everything I need to do over the LAN. And I have very good WiFi via the Orbi. Thank you RaghuHR for your help. I sincerely appreciate that you were willing to go the extra mile with me to figure things out. But I now consider the problem fixed.

Thank you for your private message. Please look again at ALL of the screenshots that I sent you. I believe that I tried exactly what you are suggesting, and the results were no different.

Yes I checked all those but as I mentioned I do not see you have tried DHCP option. Please check the screen here that I've attached.
Observe the routerand DNS server IP address should be your Orbi router IP address. I see this is missing from your screen shot.
Thanks,
Raghu

Thank you for your reply, RaghuHR. I could have sworn that I sent you one with DHCP and everything filled in. But I am on the road right now, and won't be back to my home network for a couple of days. I will gladly try your suggestion, and I will let you know the results. Thanks again,

Hi Raghu,
I sincerely appreciate your screenshot, but apparently your screenshot is from a very different version of Mac OSX than I am running. I am running High Sierra, and I simply do not have the same options as the ones that you are showing. First, my router has an IP address of 192.168.1.1. When I go to Preferences->Network and select the LAN card that I want to configure, I can select DHCP for Configuring IPv4, but I do not have the option of setting the Router address if DHCP is selected. When I select the "Advanced..." button, I can type in a DNS Server, and since my Router address is 192.168.1.1, that is what I type in for DNS. But I seem to get a very weird IP address from the DHCP that does not start out with 192.168... Here is a screenshot of what I get when I select DHCP:
Next, I tried using DHCP with a manual address in an attempt to force a 192.168.1.xx address, but I still do not have the option of setting the Router address under High Sierra.
Neither of the two options shown to you allow for internet access via LAN.
