Orbi Pro 6 (SXR80 - SXS80) Connection with Powerline Adapter

Yes, that is exactly how I have it setup. I did not actually think it would work because the outlets that I am using are on different subpanels, but I was pleasantly surprised when the lights indicates the connection was good.
I am glad that the connectivity is there, but I just don't understand whey the Insight App does not show the Satellite as connected and why it cannot read or display the firmware version. I was thinking perhaps the backchannel communication between the hardware does not work over a powerline connection.

Getting a connection is one thing, getting useful speeds is another. I've found that powerline can be very hit-or-miss (and I don't trust the LEDs). That's especially true when the outlets are connected to different subpanels.
If you can connect ethernet to a PC, then I suggest connecting that PC to the powerline connection (not changing the outlet pairs) and running speedtest.
If not, you could connect your router to the satellite powerline connection, and connect the other end to your ISP lan connection. Then run speedtest on the router.

I will definitely connect a laptop and run the speed test. That is an excellent suggestion to confirm the quality of the connection. The other thing that I have noticed is that I have an outdoor WIFI Extender that used to not have any signal, until the satellite came up. It appears that the extender has had a solid connection since configuring. I will also connect to the extender both 2.4 and 5 networks and check the speed tests there too. Thank you.
I think I need to read up on how I can manually update the firmware on a satellite if there is a way to connect to its IP directly. Thanks!
