Based on the wireless client negotiated link speeds (866/866) I would not expect a big impact on performance, similar as you see from using the ISP WiFi router. Possible reasons for slower effective throughput could be concurrent channel usage or interferences. Ensure 80 MHz (four channels!) are free with no other AP active concurrently.
Formally talking, the Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 (drivers et all) are EoL / discontinued and in self-service support status, so expected to work as-is, certainly as long as no bigger changes in the specs or unexpected things happen.
