Orbi Wifi 6 PRO SXR80 Printing across SSID
Dear Netgear community, I need some help with my latest set up where i am trying to print across two SSID.
Router and Satellite: Orbi Wifi 6 PRO (SR80) with two satellites running latest firmware 3.2.0.108. Its a home mesh. Router mode behind Virgin Hub 3 500 gbps
SSID Details:
SSID1: Using WPA3 authentication with default vlan profile with network and client isolation both off. This has my mobile devices and desktop
SSID2: Using WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK authetication with iot vlan profile with entwork and client isolation both ON. This has my printer HP 8610 deskjet.
Post the latest firmwate upgrade, If all devices are only in the same SSID2 can I use the printer. If my printer is in SSID2 and my devices like laptop are on SSID1, i am unable to find the printer / print.
I have tried removing the vlans, changing the network and client isolation but nothing works. This used to work before the latest firmware upgrade. Unfortunately my printer does not support WPA3 authentication and cant move it to SSID1. Under any unable to ping or tracert to Printer. Unable to print from iphones too using AirPrint. Adding debug log too. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1P7eF584DsCfPaygkfErgs6dIFe7L2-aQ/view?usp=sharing
Is there any suggestions / workaround / fix to seemlessly stay connected and work?
Thanks in advance.

Well, this will get you a single network, a single IP subnet and broadcast domain - this is why printing (Airprint - Bonjour based, [and also UPnP SSDP based printing as common on Windows]) works.

Hi Partha21g
Please send the debug files. You can log in to SXR80 by accessing https://<ip address of SXR80/SXS80>/debug.htm
Click on start capture and wait for few mins before you save the debug logs. Collect the debug logs from satellite as well.
Upload into google drive and send me link via PM.
Hope printer is pingable.

We have only router logs. Could you please share the satellite log as well if the printer is connected? BTW - mention the MAC address of your printer.
Thanks,
Raghu
