Connect the 8 port switch that is on the second floor to the back of the RBR.
Any ethernet RBS has to be connected behind the RBR in either serial or daisy chained, not in parallel to the RBR.
What is the brand and model# of these switches you are using?

Sorry, i reread that. not "directly" but they can't be running through the original router you're using. It needs to be some combination of switches that go back to the orbi router. Then the orbi to the primary router

Ok, these are good.
Ya, just connect the one switch that is on second floor behind the RBR instead of the host router. This should get the RBS properly seen by the RBR and working on ethernet backhaul.
