Wired backhaul
I have a problem with my Orbi router and satellites. The Router is configured as a accesspoint and i have 2 satellites. My network is rather simple. On the groundfloor there is a modem/router. A 8 po...

Connect the 8 port switch that is on the second floor to the back of the RBR.
Any ethernet RBS has to be connected behind the RBR in either serial or daisy chained, not in parallel to the RBR.
What is the brand and model# of these switches you are using?

Reroute the wiring as you suggest. I was hopeful because it looks that this is the right way. Unfortunately there is no difference. It works in that way that's for sure. The router(configured as an AP) on the ground floor is now directly connected to the satellite on the first floor and the satellite on the second floor is directly connected to the satellite on the first floor. So it's a daisy chained configuration.Switches for the rest of all equipment in the house are connected to the rest of the available lan ports of the AP's. Everything works.
Actually i wasn't sure how to bring the internet signal from my Modem/Router to the first AP. Is that on the WAN port or a LAN port? Works both and i see no difference.
Another thing is when i search the internet how to setup a backhaul on a orbi i get this site: https://kb.netgear.com/000051205/What-is-Ethernet-backhaul-and-how-do-I-set-it-up-on-my-Orbi-WiFi-System. In the right colomn "his article applies to" a can't find my SRR router and my SRS satellites. Could it be that a configuration like i want isn't possible at all?
I was aware of my misconfiguration when i installed a RBR750 system at my kid's place. But when i configured it the right way a collumn "Backhaul status good". Not at my site unfortunately.

So you have a Orbi Pro system? SRR and SRS? Which model?
Though not same system, I would think the pro line would work is same manor.
WAN is required to be used in back of any Orbi router while in AP or router mode.
