NetGear Armor for Windows 11
I bought a NetGear Armor subscription for my Orbi and the computers in my home. I installed it on the Orbi and most of the computers without issue.
On one of my Windows 11 computers, it fails to install. I download the install program from the install site and run it.
It puts up a dialog saying that it is downloading a larger program, about 700MB. When that program download is almost 100% complete, the computer reboots itself. I look in the Windows installed applications and the NetGear Armor BitDefender agent has been installed, but that is all. No sign of any other NetGear Armor software. Some times, shortly after boot, a dialog for the same NetGear Armor download pops up and the whole process begins again. When the download completes, the system reboots. The loop can be interrupted by cancelling the download window. But NetGear Armor is never successfully installed.
I uninstall the agent and do it again, but the results are the same. Same reboot.
I can re-run the install program without uninstalling the agent. Same results. Same reboot.
The computer is a custom built system with an ASUS PRIME H510-M motherboard with the latest BIOS updates and 32GB memory with a 1TB SSD. We have no issues running or installing any other software.
Thanks for any useful suggestions you can provide.

Is this the only Windows 11 PC?
What build of Windows 11? 23H2?
Might check to see and temporarily disable any windows features from being install on the system that maybe preventing a SW installation. Check Privacy and Settings. Maybe disable any security apps or features temporarily.

Yes, I have several other Windows 10 and Windows 11 computers. NetGear Armor installed on all of them without issue.
This computer is running Windows 11 23H2 Build 22631.3880
I have disabled the only other security software on the machine, Windows Defender and temporarily turned off all of its features including firewall and active protection. No change in behavior. Machine still reboots every time I try to install NetGear Armor.

This one PC needs to be looked into then. If others installed correctly with out issues, this one PC needs to be checked.
Take a look at the Event logs for windows to see if it's reporting anything.
Check with the Mfr of the motherboard or MS in regards to this.

I just went to the netgear.armor.com support site and clicked on this link to search their Knowlege Base about Armor.
https://www.netgear.com/support/product/netgear-armor.aspx
I got a 404 page not found error for that link from the support site. Not encouraging.
